Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki to play Barbados Invitational Tennis Exhibition’s “Tennis Pon de Rock”

tennis Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki will meet at the Barbados Invitational Tennis Exhibition’s “Tennis Pon de Rock” set for November 28-29 at the Wildey Gymnasium Complex in Barbados.

Saturday’s match will start at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by a senior exhibition between Jeff Tarango and Haydn Lewis starting at 6 p.m.

On Sunday all four players are scheduled to play an exhibition where they will play women’s singles, men’s singles and mixed doubles matches.

Williams and Wozniacki are also scheduled to participate in a fantasy camp and a cocktail party after the event.
All the money collected in this exhibition tennis event will be used to assist the Barbados Tennis Association.

The organizers of the event explained that the money will be used to assist the Barbados Tennis Association in enhancing the existing facilities so they can host tennis tournaments.

“Our main objective for our charitable beneficiaries is to create a steady stream of funds, helping them to achieve their goals and create new ambitious goals for the future,” event director Jonathan “Kodi” Lewis said. “It is our hope B.I.T.E will continue for many years to come and provide the much needed assistance, not only to improve tennis in Barbados and the region, but to increase our number of charitable beneficiaries. Playing our part for the betterment of our entire island community.”
