17 year old Miss Deirdre Greenidge to represent Grenada in the 2009 Miss Digicel Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant in Sweet Sugar City St. Kitts.
Miss Talented Teen Grenada 2009-2010, 17 year old Deirdre Greenidge will represent Grenada at the 30th Annual Miss Digicel Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant in the island of St. Kitts. This pageant is held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts Honorable Denzil Douglas together with the Haynes Smith Talented Association. The pageant runs from the 28th to the 31st December, 2009.
Miss Greenidge will participate in five categories and market her island and sponsors as a multifaceted one in; Ambassadorial Speech, The National Costume, Talent, Evening Gown and Interview.
Miss Deirdre Greenidge will leave the island on Monday 28th December 2009 with her Manager and Franchise owner Mr. Devon Francique, and her chaperone Miss. Joyclyn Francique.
Mr. Francique a man well known for his talent in the art form will be awarded this year by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts Hon. Denzil Douglas and their Cultural Ministry for his work done throughout the Caribbean in the Pageant Industry for the past 18 years.
Grenada performs exceptionally at this prestigious pageant capturing the high-status crown in 1992 -1993 Ms. Natalie Isaac, and in 2004 -2005 Miss Cathisha Lenin Williams. Miss Akima Paul, Miss. Rachel Phillips, Miss. Anya Jerome, Miss. Kaywana Reaburn, Miss. Rachel Anthony, Miss Luan Harford , Miss Ahyana Bowen, Miss Renee Marques and Miss Asha Clarke were all 1st Runner up between the years 1993 to 2008.
