Election fever

Ballot Box

Colourful buntings in the capital, shiny banners, glossy posters of candidates, radio political advertisements and broadcasts, are setting the stage for the St Kitts and Nevis General Elections this coming Monday.

Kittitians and Nevisians will be voting on Monday

The two main parties in the race are Prime Minister Denzil Douglas' governing Labour Party, and the Peoples Action Movement (PAM) led by lawyer Lindsay Grant.

Dr Douglas says he expects to win a fourth term in office.

Lindsay Grant says PAM has campaigned on three key planks: "crime, cost of living and corruption".
