A Yeovil man, whose parents live on Madeira, is considering flying out to the flood stricken island because of fears for their safety.
Martin Hellier has been trying to contact his parents who live in Ponta do Sol, about 20 miles west of the island's regional capital, Funchal.
He has been trying to get through to them since Saturday, 20 February when the floods first hit the island.
