Cosmo’s Editor-in- chief dead at 90

Editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and author of Sex and the Single Girl Helen Gurley Brown is dead.

She was  90.

Brown died in New York shortly after being admitted to hospital.

She was hired by Hearst to turn around Cosmopolitan and edited the magazine for 32 years.

Brown continued to be editor of the magazine's 64 international editions until her death.
