5 Jamaican artist including BUJU got NOMINATED for the REGGAE GRAMMY, who do you think will win it?

grammy Music awards shows may come and go, but the original Grammys remain The Oscars of the music industry representing the entire music spectrum from classical, country and gospel to rock, rap and reggae.

This year's nominees were announced during a primetime entertainment broadcast, "Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" which aired live on CBS from Los Angeles' Club Nokia on Wednesday, December 3, 2009 at 9PM ET.

The 1-hour special, hosted by rapper LL Cool J, revealed Grammy nominations in several categories and the world premiere performance of Nick Jonas & the Administration, as well as appearances by Black Eyed Peas, country stars Sugarland and R&B singer Maxwell.

Beyonce leads the 2010 Grammy nominations with an outstanding 10 nominations including album of the year, record and song of the year, from her 2008 release I Am...Sasha Fierce.

Taylor Swift had eight nominations, including album of the year, and record and song of the year. Taylor Swift was the recent winner of the American Music Awards Artist of the Year, and the Country Music Award for Entertainer of the Year.

Lady GaGa has five nominations for songs from her debut album The Fame, but best new artist was not among the nominations and Maxwell whose mother is Haitian and father from Puerto Rico also has 5 nominations.
