St. George’s Grenada, Monday December 21st 2009, – A team of Education Professionals and the Secretary General of the Jamaica National Commission for UNESCO will be visiting Grenada in January to introduce the Caribbean Exams programme which is geared toward assisting students to succeed in their CXC Examinations.
This programme was designed to assist students from grades 4-13 and features full-length, timed, computer-adaptive tests whose delivery simulates that of actual exams.
It includes actual past paper questions, homework help, research assistance, teacher monitored chat rooms, revision notes resources for parents, thousands of practice questions, answers and explanations (via a 24/7 online help desk), as well as comprehensive review sections.
The programme will be presented at two meetings. The first will provide information on the many facets of the programme to Ministry of Education officials and the second will be held with other stakeholders, National PTA and Principals of both public and private primary and secondary schools.
The presentation for stakeholders will be held on January 12th, 2010 at the Ministry of Education’s Conference Room, from 9:30 am – 11:30 pm.
