CRIME REPORT - Grenada

Maria COURTNEY, a 38 year old laundry assistant residing at Tempe St. George, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of stealing, articles valued at $55.80 ECC. The offence was committed on the 8.1.2010.

Paula SYLVESTER, a 38 year old unemployed resident of Happy Hill St. George, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of stealing, to wit: two female goats, valued at $400.00 ECC. The offence was committed between the 1 & 31.10.2009.

Kelvin ROACHE, a 25 year old bartender residing at Dusty Highway St. George, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of robbery with violence, to wit: cash amounting to $560.00 US and $40.00 ECC. The offence was committed on the 4.1.2010.

Kellon SAMUEL, a 28 year old landscaper residing at La Femme St. David, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of damage to property, to wit: one rear windscreen, valued at $2,000.00 ECC. The offence was committed on the 14.12.2009.

Gus CHIDDICK, a 25 year old construction worker, residing at Loretto St. John, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of causing harm. The offence was committed on the 23.11.2009.

Javel BERNARD, a 20 year old unemployed resident of Edward Street Gouyave St. John, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of causing harm. The offence was committed on the 27.12.2009.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of housebreaking and stealing, articles valued at $2,492.00 ECC. The offences were committed between the 6 & 7.1.2010.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of stealing, to wit: one Dual DVD deck, valued at $1,200.00 ECC. The offence was committed on the 7.1.2010.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of damage to property, to wit: one right front glass of car. The offence was committed on the 7.1.2010.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of stealing, to wit: one amplifier, valued at $1,399.00 ECC and cash amounting to $1,145.00 ECC. The offence was committed on the 25.10.2009.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of stealing, articles valued at $1,513.00 ECC. The offence was committed between the 2 & 3.1.2010.

Daniel Mahon RANGER, a 23 year old unemployed resident of Dunfermline St. Andrew and Ishmael RANGER, a 21 year old labourer residing at Pearls St. Andrew, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of robbery with violence, to wit: one gold chain, valued at $3,400.00 ECC, one ID band, valued at $2,600.00 ECC and cash amounting to $40.00 ECC. The offence was committed on the 25.12.2009.

On the 8.1.2010, an officer attached to Community Relations Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force visited the St. George’s Methodist Primary School where on arrival, he observed a few male students from the said school kicking a black plastic bag which appeared to be containing something. He approached them and inquired about the bag’s content and they said they did not know. As a result, the Officer secured the bag, opened it and observed dried plant material resembling that of Cannabis. He then took same to C.I.D, St. George’s where it weighed a total of eighty-nine and three quarter grams. Same was handed over to the exhibit keeper.

Occurred on the 8.1.2010.

VEHICULAR RELATED ACCIDENTS

Five (5) minor accidents were reported for the period.
