Press Release – Grenada Board of Tourism

Several radio stations in Grenada are from this week airing messages from the Grenada Board of Tourism as part of its Domestic Marketing Programme.

The messages appeal to Grenadians to take a greater interest in nurturing the tourism industry and demonstrating more appreciation for the protection of the environment.

It is to be recalled that late last year, the Grenada Board of Tourism launched the components of its innovative Domestic Marketing Programme at the Conference Room of the Flamboyant Hotel.

Since then the GBT has been involved in dialogue with various persons involved in communications, art, photography, playwriting, comedy, and jingles production who had expressed interest by submitting proposals to the Grenada Board of Tourism.

The messages being aired currently encourage citizens to play their part in the development of the local tourism industry through education, an understanding of the contribution of tourism, and their role in providing the best.
