Assistant Police Commissioner Glenmore Hinds has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police effective July 1, 2010.
His appointment was confirmed last week by the Police Service Commission.
DCP Hinds will continue to head the JCF’s Operations Portfolio, after acting in the position for the last six months.
DCP Hinds has been serving the JCF for the last 35 years.
