Two men shot dead at fish fry

Two men were shot dead while they were at a fish fry in China Town, Central Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica last night.

They are 32-year-old businessman Dennis Brown, also called ‘Steve’, of China Town in Central Village and 27-year-old Devon Taylor of Windsor Heights both in the parish.

Reports from the Central Village Police are that about 9:35 p.m. both men were at a fish fry when residents heard explosions and alerted the police. Lawmen who responded found Brown and Taylor suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were taken to hospital where Brown died while undergoing treatment. Taylor succumbed to his injuries this morning.
Investigations continue.
