A newborn baby has been killed by a family dog in Houston, Texas. The two-week-old baby was killed on Saturday night.
The baby has not been named, but it’s believed the child was in an infant carrier when the dog, a Labrador mix, began to sniff it and then attacked. The parents were unable to stop the attack in time.
The baby was airlifted to the nearby Memorial Hermann Hospital but could not be saved and died early on Sunday. The dog has been taken into quarantine.
