Marketing Grenada to the World

St. George’s, November 6, 2009 – Grenada will discuss its 2010 tourism marketing plan and promote new tourism product and services at a four-day meeting in the United Kingdom next week.

A delegation of government and private sector officials, led by Tourism Minister Hon. Glynis Roberts, is attending the World Tourism Market in London from November 9 – 12.

The broad objectives of the 22-member team include exploring opportunities for expansion and growth in Grenada’s tourism sector and increasing destination awareness among travel trade and media representatives.

Minister Roberts and her team will also be trying to establish further contacts in the travel and tourism sectors, as well as attempting to initiate new tourism relationships and updating the U.K. market on the current status of the tourism market in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
